Our yard is at 12 Belfree Dr, Green Fields SA 5107, in the City of Salisbury. Belfree Drive is reached from Greenfields Drive off Salisbury Highway, or from George Street. We are open Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm and Saturday 7:30am to 2:00pm, with no booking needed.

From the south, east and west (Pooraka, Mawson Lakes, Port Adelaide, the city): take Salisbury Highway, turn into Greenfields Drive and then into Belfree Drive.
From the north (Salisbury, Paralowie, Parafield Gardens, Elizabeth): come down to George Street and continue into Belfree Drive.
The yard is in Adelaide’s northern industrial belt, just off Port Wakefield Road.
Drive in during opening hours; there is no booking for everyday loads. Yard staff will show you where to unload and can help with heavy or awkward pieces, but for safety you generally handle your own load, so bring gloves and a second pair of hands for a big one.
Each metal is graded with you and weighed on certified scales in front of you. A sorted boot-load of copper usually takes 10 to 15 minutes; a mixed trailer that needs separating takes longer. Payment is made by bank transfer at the counter before you leave.

A current driver’s licence, passport or proof of age card. Every sale is recorded against the seller.
BSB and account number, so the transfer can be processed at the counter while you wait.

No. Walk-ins are welcome all day. Call ahead only for large commercial loads, several vehicles or anything that needs a forklift, so the space and equipment are ready.

Current photo ID (driver's licence, passport or proof of age card), your BSB and account number for payment, and enclosed shoes. Gloves help if you are unloading a big load.

Mid-morning to early afternoon, Tuesday to Thursday. The busiest times are first thing Monday, Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
